On Road Race Track
As of today there is no power. Working hard to get the drivers stand done and power in. Drivers stand will be done by Aug 6th. We will have some generators for power on the 6th.
Right now you can show up. call the track get the code for the gate. We are going to do a month membership for $25.00 and you can run all you want. We are doing a combo deal for the offroad track and onroad track for $50 a month for all the practice you want. But right now it is FREE for the onroad track. … We will start to charge later but not now. The code will be changed at the end of every month and you will need to sign in at the store to run for the day and get the code. This is only for insurance reasons. The onroad track is only three minutes from the offroad track.
The track is visually stunning, the traction is plenty good without any Mountain Dew etc., tire wear seems to be just fine, and the track is almost butter smooth. Some of the curves have a very nice radius to them, and there is nothing in RC more satisfying than going as fast as you can in an on road car while hugging the inside line while on the edge of traction, and this track has a couple curves that allow one to do that.
The layout on this track is not very technical, but not to worry. this will end up being a very scale looking track that can be ran as an oval or with the infield. This is so novice drivers or people new to RC in general won’t be intimidated. With that the “upper” level (much Larger) track project is already under way and will be not only huge but as technical as we want to make it.
Because the track is in a residential neighborhood, there will only be electric.
